At the World Trade Organization, James Munro worked on international trade litigation at both the panel and appellate levels. He has also worked for the Australian government in the domains of international trade and investment law, advising on domestic compliance with international economic law, free trade agreements, trade remedies investigations, and working as a negotiator and legal counsel on a variety of trade and environmental accords. Munro has a PhD in international trade and investment law from the University of Melbourne and has written a number of peer-reviewed articles on the subject.
