Genesis 1-11 by Jeremy Thomson
The first few chapters of "Genesis" set the stage on which the subsequent drama of redemption takes place: and the final chapters of "Revelation" return to themes set out here. This study encourage discussion about a sometimes controversial subject, while advocating neither the theory of evolution nor its alternative known as 'creation science'.
Jeremy Thomson was Principal Lecturer in Theology and Vice Principal of Oasis College of Higher Education, London, until his retirement in 2017. He holds a MA in Biblical Interpretation from the London Bible College, and a PhD in Systematic Theology from King’s College, London. Jeremy has worked in engineering, student and parish ministry, and couples counselling. He is author of Telling the Difference: Developing Youth Workers and Ministers as Theologians (2007), and of Relationships and Emotions After Christendom (2016).
