Amanda M.Thrasher was born in England and currently resides in Texas. She's the author of award-winning YA, General Fiction, Middle Grade, Early Reader Chapter, and Picture books. Amanda has won The Mom's Choice Awards(R) (MCA) many times, in categories such as YA, General Fiction, and Early Reader Chapter Books. Amanda was hired by the Driving on the Right Side of the Road Program to create a graphic novel. The publication is part of the Driving on the Right Side of the Road (DRSR) program, which was developed with funding from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Department of Transportation by the Law-Related Education Department of the State Bar of Texas Law Focused Education, Inc. and the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center. The program's goal is to provide a preventative educational program that encourages responsible decision-making when it comes to respecting traffic regulations and safe practices.

What If... is the title of a comic novel. A Tale of Broken Lives was transformed as a reader's theater for five to twenty-six speakers and is still part of the DRSR curriculum. A screenplay was used to create CAPTAIN FIN. For filmmaker, actor, and producer Kevin James O'Neill, Amanda was hired to convert the screenplay into a novel.
