The Golf Swing Simplified by John Jacobs
The majority of the world's 35 million golfers never play the game as well as they could because they have no idea of what they are trying to do when they swing a golf club. The golf swing, in fact, has only one purpose - to deliver the head of the club to the ball correctly. How this is done is immaterial, so long as the method used permits correct impact to be achieved over and over again. In this illustrated book all aspects of the golf swing are covered. Divided into five parts the book includes the fundamentals of golf, preparing to swing and questions most asked aobut the swing in golf. The book is designed to be of interest to all golfers from beginners to more experienced.Michael Jacobs is a Visiting Professor at Bournemouth University's Centre of Health and Community Studies and has his own practice in Swanage, Dorset, where he supervises counselors, sees clients, and writes and edits. Prior to retirement, he worked for 15 years as the Director of the University of Leicester's Counseling and Psychotherapy Department, and for 12 years as a therapist in the University's Student Health Service. Many training programmes include his publications on psychodynamic counselling and therapy as core materials.
