Take a sensible modern approach to cooking, why make everything from scratch if you can save time using some ready made products and combine them with a few fresh ingredients in an inspiring way. Packed with practical ideas for cooks who have to feed the family everyday.
Felicity Barnum-Bobb is the cookery editor of Good Housekeeping magazine. She first started seriously cooking at the age of 9, when she regularly used to cook the Sunday lunch for her family (whilst they were busy serving food and drink in a pub in Bedfordshire). At 16 she knew she wanted to be a cookery editor on women's magazines. After cooking for directors' dining rooms, families abroad and taking a Home Economics degree, she joined her first magazine eighteen years ago. She's been cookery editor of Prima, Woman and Best and has written recipes, cooked food on photography and styled food for over ten other magazines. She's married with four children under nine and lives in North London. Her recipes focus on maximum flavour with minimum effort.
