Eric Powell is a writer and illustrator who has worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Hellboy: Weird Tales, Star Wars Tales, The Incredible Hulk, Black Panther, The Avengers, The Hood, MAD Magazine, Devil Dinosaur, Swamp Thing, She-Hulk, The Simpsons, Arkham Asylum: Living Hell, Action Comics, and Creepy, among other publications. Eric had been eking out a small existence in the comics industry since 1995, but it wasn't until he released his critically praised dark humor series The Goon that he found actual success. Dark Horse Comics later picked up The Goon, and it now has a devoted cult following. Eric has recently been working on bringing The Goon to life on the big screen as an animated feature film with acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, Blur Animation, and Dark Horse Entertainment.
