Jeff grew up in Austin, Texas, where he began to love writing by journaling and making up stories over the phone to entertain his friends. Jeff, a former elementary and middle school teacher, now works with teachers and kids in schools around the country to help them find the joy and power of writing. Jeff shares his home with Terry and their two dogs, Carl and Paisley.

Andrea Miller is an illustrator and a children's book designer at Sterling Publishing, as well as a graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
