A Great Game by Stephen J Harper

Stephen Harper, like millions of other Canadians, began playing hockey at a early age in arenas and on the gleaming rinks and roadways of his hometown. He is now the twenty-second Prime Minister of Canada, having retired from his on-ice career with the Leaside Lions. He is happily married to Laureen, and they live in Calgary and Ottawa with their children Ben and Rachel. Harper is an amateur historian interested in researching the sport's impact on the people and places that constitute Canada. He is a member of the Society of International Hockey Research with a special interest in the early decades of the game. His first published work on the sport of hockey is A Wonderful Game.
