Lesley A.Diehl, a retired psychology professor, regained her country roots by relocating to a modest house in upstate New York's Butternut River Valley. She spends the winter at ancient Florida, a place where spurs still jingle in the post office and gators make golf a contact sport, with cowboys, scrub palmetto, and broad fields of grazing cattle. Her literary muse is the quiet ghost that lives in the cottage up north. While she's not writing, she spends her time gardening, cooking, and renovating an 1874 cottage with the help of her husband, two cats, and, of course, Fred the ghost, who oversees their efforts. Lesley has written several mystery series and mysteries, as well as short tales.
