The Guv'nor by Lenny Mclean
Bare-knuckle fighter Lenny McLean took on the toughest men in the country to win the accolade "The Guv'nor". In this memoir, he describes his life of violence, how he fought a murder charge, and how he gave up violence to become an actor.
Reggie Kray was one of London's most notorious gangsters in the 1950s and '60s. Involved in everything from protection rackets to murder, he was eventually jailed in 1969, and remained in prison until his death in 2000. Peter Gerrard met with Reggie in 1989 and worked on East End stories with him for the next five years.
