Hadrian's Wall Path by Anthony Burton

Hadrian's Wall Path is the National Trail of some 84 miles (135 km) linking Wallsend, near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, with Bowness-on-Solway on England's west coast. This is a guide for the long-distance walker or the weekend stroller.

Anthony Burton is a full-time writer who has written over 70 novels, the first of which was The Canal Builders (1972), which is currently in its fourth edition. The Great Days of the Canal, the series Anatomy of Canals, and a biography of Thomas Telford are among the others. He has worked extensively in television as a writer, presenter, and most recently as an expert, appearing in a variety of shows including Channel 5's Huge, Bigger, Biggest, and BBC Scotland's Thomas Telford, as well as a forthcoming edition of Coast. He has served as Historic Adviser for a number of Discovery shows.
