Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. With illustrated frontispiece. Includes B&W illustrations throughout. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters somewhat cracked with some exposed netting. Binding is firm. Foxing and tanning more intense towards start and end of book and on text block edges. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and frayed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Notable dust and other stains overall. Boards are slightly bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Spine is slightly sunned. Gilt is bright.
