Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb by Al Perkins

A simplified board book edition of the classic Bright and Early Book featuring a band of musical monkeys who introduce babies and toddlers to hands, fingers, thumbs--and drums!

The dancing, prancing monkey musicians in this Bright & Early Board Book will have kids (and their lucky parents) drumming and humming along with the story as they learn to identify their hands, fingers, and thumbs. Written in rollicking rhyme, this simplified board book edition of Al Perkins' beloved Beginner Book is ideal for reading out loud, as well as introducing kids to the joys of making music!

Bright and Early Board Books are super sturdy, simplified board book editions of classic Beginner Books. First launched in 1996, they have introduced millions of toddlers to beloved books from Dr. Seuss, P. D. Eastman, and other author-illustrators, in a format just right for young readers!
Al Perkins was the author of several Bright and Early Books and Beginner Books, among them Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb; and The Ear Book. Perkins passed away in 1975.

Eric Gurney (1910-1992) was a well-known artist, cartoonist, and illustrator.
