She goes to live with her aunt in Battersea and is relieved to escape the confines and drudgery of her rooming house when, at 15, she takes a series of jobs.Dr. Peter Ling works at RMIT University's Faculty of Media & Communication. Since 2011, he has served as Deputy Dean, overseeing discipline clusters and, more recently, the international portfolio. He worked in team creativity consulting, advertising agency management, marketing communication consultancy, public relations, and journalism before entering academics at Edith Cowan University. He's worked in Singapore, Taipei, Perth, and Melbourne, with training stints at Young & Rubicam in New York and Lintas in Sydney. He is the principal author of Consumer Behaviour in Action (OUP), and has produced hundreds of industry articles and cases for numerous companies.
