Norman Bailey began his flying career with the Army Air Corps and later graduated from the Royal Air Force's Central Flying School for Helicopter Instructors. He was a member of the UK Panel of Helicopter Examiners from 1976 to 1986 and is a CAA Helicopter Examiner. He is currently based in Manchester, UK.
