Dan Stone is Professor of Modern History and Director of the Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. He is the author of several books, including The Liberation of the Camps: The End of the Holocaust and its Aftermath (2015), Goodbye to All That? The Story of Europe since 1945 (2014) and Histories of the Holocaust (2010). Professor Stone has edited and co-edited numerous books, such as The Holocaust and Historical Methodology (2012), The Oxford Handbook of Postwar European History (2012) and The Historiography of Genocide (2008). He is also a co-editor of the Journal of Genocide Research.
