Home for Christmas by Jeremy Archer
Shows that any opportunity to take advantage of a relaxed guard from your enemy appears to have been seized with enthusiasm. This work is an anthology of Christmas letters, cards and diary entries, written during wartime.
After serving in the British Army for ten years, Jeremy Archer now lives in London and works in the City. An enthusiastic amateur military historian, he has travelled the world visiting battlefields. A member of the editorial team for the recently-published The Devonshire and Dorset Regiment 1958-2007, he writes occasional articles for a variety of publications, including the British Army Review. This is his first book.
