Celia Rees was born and brought up in Solihull in the West Midlands, and now lives in Warwickshire. Before embarking full time on her writing career, she taught English at Secondary school level, and now runs creative writing workshops in between writing books. Celia is most recently recognised for her novel, Witch Child, and is now busy writing the sequel.
