The Houseminders by Ian Whybrow
A child's anxieties about moving house are observed in this text. Set over the course of a year, each season's changing colours and moods are portrayed through artwork that aims to capture the feel of the text.
Author: Ian Whybrow is an author of growing reputation and has written over twenty books. He writes brilliantly across the age range. We published his hilarious Sniff stories in February 1999. His picture book, Quacky Quack Quack, was short listed for the Smarties Prize. We published his first Hodder picture book Little Wonder, illustrated by Emily Bolam in April 1999. Illustrator: This debut picture book launches Julie Monks as an exciting new illustrator into the world of children's books. She also has her own range of greetings cards.
