
Throughout his childhood, Chris Ellis has been a steam and model train enthusiast. He began his career as the editor of Airfix Magazine in the early 1960s and has nearly fifty years of expertise as a writer and editor. He founded Model Trains in 1980, and he still edits it now as Model Trains International. Chris Ellis has also authored a number of railway and scenery modeling publications, as well as essays on military, aviation, and transportation topics.
