Sam Martin is the author of Manspace: A Primal Guide to Marking Your Territory, How to Mow the Lawn: The Lost Art of Being a Man, and How to Keep House. He is a former senior editor at This Old House magazine. Before that he lived in a tent in the forests of British Columbia for eight months while working as a tree planter. Sam has two sons and works as a full-time writer in Austin, Texas. Christian Casucci learned the way of the woods at an early age by accompanying his father on many a camping adventure zigzagging across the United States. After finishing college and working a few seasons in the Alaskan salmon fishing industry, he camped his way down the Alaskan panhandle and in to the lower forty-eight. He lives in the not so wild suburbs of Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters, whom, a few times a year, he's successfully able to cajole in to camping.
