Chris Chatterton is a bestselling children's illustrator. He began his career in graphic design and animation, working on projects including Dr Who. For Macmillan, Chris's books include I Am Dog and the Gus picture books, which he both writes and illustrates. He considers the Gus picture books to be semi-autobiographical, as the loveable grumpy dog character is based on his own grumpy moods! Originally from County Durham, Chris now lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
