The I Can't Sing Book by Jackie Silberg

Who says you need an opera singer's voice to teach music to young children? Fascinating, easy activities help even the most tone-deaf adult show children the wonder and magic of making and hearing music. All you need are things like rubber bands, paperclips, jingle bells and paper plates to bring the joy of music to children.

Jackie Silberg, a master's degree holder, is an early childhood advocate and a prominent keynote speaker who specializes in child development. Emporia State University honored her with the Distinguished Alumna Award, acknowledging both her present accomplishments and her long and illustrious career. Jackie developed and ran the Jewish Community Center School of Music in Kansas City, Missouri, and worked for Channel 41 television, where she planned and performed original music for the children's show 41 Treehouse Lane. She created and produced the television show Just Kids for Time Warner, which focused on the needs and interests of children.

Jackie helped the Discovery Channel build up their music streaming service as a consultant. Throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Singapore, she has presented workshops, keynote presentations, seminars, and family concerts. Jackie has lectured at Johnson County Community College and served as an adjunct faculty at Emporia State University and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Miss Jackie Music Company is owned by Jackie.
