I Love Knitting by Rachel Henderson
Knitting is an age-old craft, but so many people are discouraged by its indecipherable patterns, pointless projects and fusty image. In fact, knitting can be sociable, creative and fun and Rachel Henderson's quest is to make it appealing and accessible to young people. Her 25 simple projects are easy to follow, won't take months to knit and most important of all, work making - look at Rachel's chunky fingerless gloves, beaded bow tie necklace and practical laptop case. I Love Knitting will show you all the basic techniques, provide you with inspiration to foster your own style and teach you a skill that you will treasure for life - all infused with Rachel's quirky style. Sit down, relax, and create. Knitting is not just for grannies, you know!
Rachel Henderson trained in textile design and then worked for internationally renowned knitwear company Rowan Yarns as a design consultant and tutor, before setting up her own craft business.
