Purdie, Mary: - Mary Purdie is an illustrator living in Los Angeles with her loving husband, DeAndre. Her earliest works of writing and illustration include The Lost Puppy (1990) and The Trouble with School (1991), both unpublished and written haphazardly with a dull pencil (hey, she was eight-years-old, what did you expect?) Mary finds joy in creating illustrations and pieces of writing that evoke heartfelt emotions.
