Jeremy Aynsley is Director of Research and Professor of History of Design at the Royal College of Art where he is also head of the V&A/RCA History of Design Programme and was director of the AHRC Centre for the Study of the Domestic Interior from 2001 to 2006. He is the author of Designing Modern Germany (2009) and Graphic Design in Germany 1890 - 1945 (2000). Charlotte Grant is a Senior Lecturer at the New College of the Humanities in London and was a Senior Research Fellow at the AHRC Centre for the Study of the Domestic Interior from 2001 to 2005. Her publications include articles on eighteenth-century women's poetry and the representation of women at the Society of Arts.
