He has appeared on NPR's On Point, The Leonard Lopate Show, ABC, CBS, NBC, and other media outlets, and his writing has been published in The New York Times. He is the creator of the Blauner Books Literary Agency and a member of the PEN American Center and the National Book Critics Circle. He is a graduate of Collegiate School, Brown University, and Columbia Management School.
