Brittany founded ChiChi212.com in 2007, after graduating from Rutgers University with a journalism degree. The site was named for Best Nightlife Blog by Paper Magazine, and she became an influencer for Bacardi, Popchips, Svedka, and the Gap. She realized it was time to transition from journalism to social media when she was flown to Germany as Nivea's North American ambassador only to hang out with Rihanna on a cruise ship and tweet about it.
