Edward Teyber is a retired psychology professor at California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Teyber is a Ph.D. holder. Michigan State University awarded her a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. For nearly 40 years, he has worked with children and families in clinical practice, supervision and training, and research, as well as in the therapeutic process. He continues to produce popular press and professional articles and chapters, and is the author of HELPING CHILDREN DEAL WITH DIVORCE, a popular-press book, and CASEBOOK IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT TREATMENT: CULTURAL AND FAMILIAL CONTEXTS, 2nd Edition, a textbook published by Brooks/Cole. Dr. Teyber has a part-time private practice and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities with his family and friends.
