Laura Mitchell MBE MDS BDS FDSRCPS (Glasg) FDCRCS (Eng) FGDP (UK) DOrthRCS (Eng) M Orth RCS (Eng) qualified as BDS in 1981. She is the co-author of the popular Oxford Handbook of Clinical Dentistry, now in its fifth edition. Laura has always had an enthusiasm for education and training. She has led the development of a number of postgraduate examinations and has played a prominent role in the development of Orthodontic Therapists in the UK. In 2010 she was awarded an MBE for services to healthcare.
