Iron Curtain Rising by Peter Laufer

Peter Laufer is the inaugural James Wallace Chair in Journalism at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where he was honored with the Marshall Award for innovative teaching. He is the author of more than a dozen books on social and political topics, including Dreaming in Turtle and Slow News: A Manifesto for the Critical News Consumer (OSU Press).Interviewing: The Oregon Method contains contributions from faculty and friends of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. Alex Tizon, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and a UO professor, Mike Fancher, a former Seattle Times executive editor and a UO alumnus, and Tim Gleason, the longtime dean of the UO School of Journalism and Communication, are among the contributors.
