Jo-Jo the Lamb by Jonathan Bates

Food Forest Farm Permaculture Nursery (permaculturenursery.com) is owned by Jonathan Bates and specializes in instructional services as well as the selling of useful/edible plants. For more than a decade, he has studied, created, and worked with rural and urban gardens in the Connecticut River Valley. Jonathan likes wild creating with friends and working with others to improve the world we live in. He has a bachelor's degree in biology and an MA in social ecology from the Institute for Social Ecology. He cofounded the Apios Institute and serves on its board of directors, as well as teaching at the Yestermorrow Design/Build School and farming with Nuestras Raices, Inc. He is a resident of Holyoke, Massachusetts.
