This is the second Johnny Ball book and he is still a brilliant football manager. I love the mix of match reports and story. Johnny is really fair and kind to his friends. He's started to change what he wears in this story but I'm not going to spoil the surprise. Next year, he might be my World Book Day character! Matt Oldfield loves football. He loves playing football, watching football, reading about football, but most of all, he loves writing about football.
