Radha Paudel, a nurse by profession, is a humanitarian social activist working to empower people living in poor districts of Nepal, organizing health services and human aid. She has a Bachelor in Community Health Nursing, a Master in Health Education and a Master in Sociology. After having worked at Bharatpur Hospital, in 2001 she took a position in Jumla, where her father had worked. The area was remote and needed development. She ran a safe motherhood project. However, in 2002 it was severely struck by a Maoist attack she barely survived. In 2010 she got a Master in Development Management from Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, Philippines. She is also the founder of Action Works Nepal and served as the first president during 2010-2015.
