Khashoggi and The Crown Prince by Owen Wilson
On 2 October 2018, the Saudi Arabian Jamal Khashoggi flew from London to Istanbul to visit the Saudi consulate to collect routine marriage papers. After entering he was invited to have tea with the consul, captured and assassinated. The disappearance of the fifty-nine-year old was ordered by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman according to the CIA. His body was surgically sliced into fifteen parts and disposed of via the back entrance of the consulate, with no word as to his disappearance, said Turkish intelligence. Ignorant of the horror less than thirty yards away from her, his fiancee had stood waiting outside until midnight. Jamal Khashoggi's violent assassination has thrown up a lot of unanswered mysteries - not least about Jamal Khashoggi himself, a man who slipped between various roles and knew princes, kings, diplomats, spies and Osama bin Laden.
