Lake Wobegon Days by Garrison Keillor

One of America's most popular broadcasters and writers, Garrison Keillor presents his loving recreation of small-town America. Often funny, sometimes sad, his detailed reminiscences of Lake Wobegon captured the public's imagination when it was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4. 'Half memoir, half fiction, Lake Wobegon Days is wholly a success' - The Times. 2 CDs. 2 hrs approx.
Garrison Keillor is an American author, actor, broadcaster and storyteller. He is best known for his radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, which he hosted from 1974 to 2016. He is the creator of Lake Wobegon, a fictional Minnesota town 'where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average'. Many of Keillor's books are set there, including Lake Wobegon Days, We Are Still Married and Life Among the Lutherans.
