"Last's Anatomy" has for many editions been regarded as the standard text for all those training in surgery. Dealing with the anatomy of the human body on a regional basis, it emphasises the clinical and applied aspects of the subject for undergraduates and postgraduate trainees in medicine, surgery and dentistry. The last two editions were revised by Professor McMinn, who through working for the Royal College of Surgeons, was able to ensure that it evolved in line with the changes to the first part of the FRCS exam.
