Lateral Wine-tasting Guide by Rosemary George

Shortlisted for the Glenfiddich Award, this book guides the reader through the maze of wines available from all over the world. The cross-references create a network of suggested tasting which aim to build confidence in the drinker and advise how to taste and what to look for in a bottle of wine.

In 1979 she became one of the first women to qualify as a Master of Wine. She has written twelve books, covering the Languedoc, Chablis, Tuscany and New Zealand. A former Chairperson and now a Vice-President of the Circle of Wine Writers, she is a contributor to various magazines including Decanter, zesterdaily.com and Sommelier India.
