Patricia Cruzan has written four children's books and two poetry chapbooks. She has written poems for various anthologies, such as for The Meaning of Christmas, Poetry of the Golden Generation, volume IV, and the World Poetry Movement. As a former teacher, Patricia wrote newsletters. Patricia's poems, articles, or stories have appeared in Focus, Grit magazine, Fayette Woman, Fayette Daily News, Today in Peachtree City, and East Coweta Journal. Some of her photographs have also been published in various publications. Patricia has won two first places in poetry contests: she won one for Georgia Writers Association in 2008 and one for the World Poetry Movement in 2012. She has also won a second place in overall writing for 2009 from the Georgia Writers Association. As a child, Patricia loved to play outdoors on swings and bicycles. Her dolls, paper dolls, and dogs consumed a large portion of her playtime as well. She enjoyed making a home for her dolls, outside, in makeshift houses. Her backyard home porch served as the perfect spot for play. Many of Patricia's childhood hours, when not involved in play activities, were those spent in church. For much of her life, she sang in choirs or choral guilds. She enjoyed singing concerts and solos for much of her life. Patricia has lived in various locations throughout the United States, and she has visited England, France, Australia, and Mexico. She was born in Florida, but Georgia has been her home for over fifty years of her life.
