Little Croc's mum and dad are always telling him to behave and play nicely. But Little Croc doesn't listen and soon his meanness drives all the other animals away. It takes a game of hide and seek to make Little Croc realize that playing alone is no fun. With the help of Bird, Little Croc learns to be nice and soon the other animals are playing with him again.
Tony Maddox was born in Birmingham. After beginning his working life as a graphic designer and illustrator, he realised a long held ambition when his first book, Spike the Sparrow who Couldn't Sing was published in 1989. He has now had sixteen books published including nine books about Fergus the Farmyard Dog who has become a popular character worldwide. Some of the stories have been featured on BBC Radio and Television, including the popular children's programme The Tweenies. Tony lives in Bromsgrove, Worcs. He is married with four grown-up children and eight grandchildren.
