Little Lavender by C E Parker

John Laurens should have died on the 27th of August, 1782.

After a failed skirmish at Combahee River, John Laurens is invited to live with his dearest friend, Alexander Hamilton, in New York City. They study the law at King's College together and dream of becoming avid members of congress so they may continue fighting the good fight for America.

John wonders if he is truly able to make a real difference for the foundation of his country and for his daughter, or if his sinful nature will get in the way and be his greatest downfall...
