Little London by Sunshine Jackson
Full of the capital's best-kept secrets, just waiting to be discovered, this book contains over two hundred things to do all year round, all over London, and best of all, most of them are free.
Sunshine Jackson is a BAFTA-nominated documentary editor and edit producer. Sunshine spent three years at home after the birth of her second child, during which she founded the Hopscotch newsletter. Sunshine lives in South London with her seven- and four-year-old daughters, Florence and Bibi, her husband Jason and their cat Rosie. They never tire of the often-overlooked Investigate Centre on the lower ground floor of the Natural History Museum, and adore the fig tree in the wildlife area of Myatts Field Park (they’ve named it Tatty Bongle!). Kate Hodges has over 20 years writing experience on magazines, having been a staffer on publications including The Face, Bizarre, Just Seventeen, Smash Hits and Sky, and written for many more, including the Guardian, the Sunday Express, Kerrang!, and NME. Since June 2012, she’s edited, researched and written the weekly Hopscotch newsletter, a family guide to the best free and affordable fun things happening in London, and co-written their book, Little London (Virgin Books, 2014). She lives in St Leonards-on-Sea with her partner and children.
