Many people in the church silently struggle with sexual sin. They want to be free from their sexual urges, but it seems that no matter what they try or do, they're not able to overcome their lustful appetite. Without peace or hope, they spend their lives in the shadows of fear, shame, and guilt. I've lived in some form of sexual sin for almost my entire life. From viewing pornographic magazines and videos to having multiple relationships with women at the same time, I continually fed my sexual appetite. However, God told me several years ago that I didn't have to sin sexually]. At first, I didn't understand how that was possible, but over the years, He's given me practical and preventive measures to not only turn from sexual temptation and sin, but to enjoy the freedom of sexual purity. Living Out of Lust was written to share my testimony of how God led me toward sexual purity. Through these few pages, I'll share my journey, struggles, and God's principles for sexual purity. Though sexual sin can leave you feeling morally, physically, and spiritually bankrupt, you can find freedom in the wisdom and teaching of God. Hamp entered the Air Force in January 1995. While in the Air Force, Hamp served as a C-130 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist for four years before retraining into the Knowledge Operations Management (then Information Management) career field in June 1999. He has received thirteen assignments spanning Pacific Air Forces, United States Air Forces in Europe, and Air Education and Training Command. Hamp entered the first sergeant special duty in May 2012. Hamp has three Associate of Applied Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College. He's currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. Hamp has been recognized with more than ten awards in his career, including Basic Military Training Honor Graduate, Distinguished Graduate from his technical training schools, First Sergeant Academy Honor Graduate, and four annual awards. Hamp's most recent award is the 2013 17th Training Wing First Sergeant of the Year.
