Lobsters in Love by Richard Kidd

When the famous restaurateur lobster, Monsieur Thermidor, reads his birthday horoscope on Salome Starfish's page, he can't help wondering what lies ahead. And mysteriously enough, strange things start to happen...But he keeps a cool head and masterful manner. How he escapes, wins the love of a beautiful lady lobster and fulfils Salome Starfish's prediction, makes for a delightfully fishy tale. Illustrated with Lindsey Kidd's dough models, the book includes her recipe for salt-dough.
RICHARD KIDD studied painting at Newcastle University before taking up a scholarship at the British School at Rome. After several years of teaching at Newcastle University, he went to America in 1980, to spend a year in San Francisco and six years in New York on a Harkness Fellowship. LINDSEY KIDD studied fine art and sculpture at Preston Polytechnic and became a mannequin modeller. She has been creating salt-dough models for several years, and it was one of her Christmas lobster decorations which inspired her husband, Richard Kidd, to write Monsieur Thermidor.
