London Every Day by Andrea Hamilton
London Every Day documents daily life in the city. A morning in Broadway Market, an afternoon in Shoreditch or Hyde Park, a visit to a museum in South Kensington, a day trip along the river to Greenwich. But there is a universal aspect to many of these photographs; they are everywhere and nowhere, capturing moments both important and insignificant, but always real.
Born in Lima, Peru, Andrea Hamilton is known for her striking images of watery landscapes, particularly the frozen Arctic, and is the winner of prestigious photography awards, including the Julia Margaret Cameron Award and The Center for Fine Art Photography, Colorado, Award. Charlotte Cotton is founding curator-in-residence for the International Center of Photography’s 250 Bowery, New York, location.
