lost poems by Matthew Rasnake

lost poems comprises sixty poems selected from nearly two-hundred and represents the best work from almost a decade of bohemian creativity and twenty-something angst. the bulk of these poems were written during a fertile creative period in the early-mid- to late-nineties and deal with the breakdown of society, the breakdown of self, the vagaries of creativity, and alternately the demonization and celebration of friendship, love, and life.

Originally intended as a follow-up volume to the Christ of my Confusion-the author's first collection which is now out-of-print-this book has expanded to include a few of its better works, so that it may serve as a single comprehensive collection of the author's work of the period.

Rasnake, Matthew: - MATTHEW RASNAKE grew up in small town Kentucky longing for the excitement he found in books-like wielding magic swords on horseback or exploring the galaxy in a starship. Now he lives in the big town of Louisville, KY and writes sci-fi stories he hopes will entertain, inspire, and bring that same excitement to others.
