Love's Quiet Revolution by Scott Kiloby
Scott Kiloby points to the spiritual transformation sometimes called enlightenment, where the personal self is seen to be an illusion, leaving an inexpressible unconditional love and peace in its place. This book is essentially about present moment awareness and spiritual liberation.
Scott Kiloby is the author of six books on mindfulness and spiritual awakening. He is a licensed Indiana attorney and a California Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor. The cofounder of the Kiloby Center for Recovery in Rancho Mirage, CA--the first addiction treatment center in the United States to focus primarily on mindfulness--Kiloby is also co-owner of the Natural Rest House, a detox and residential center in La Quinta, CA. He is COO of MyLife Recovery Centers, a nationwide treatment program providing the naltrexone implant, which greatly reduces or eliminates cravings for alcohol and opiates for several months. In addition, Kiloby is founder of the Living Inquiries Community, a mindfulness facilitator training program with approximately 100 certified mindfulness facilitators who work in over 12 different countries. He regularly speaks at conferences, seminars, and workshops on mindfulness, spiritual awakening, and legal and ethical compliance in the addiction treatment field.
