This is a collection of weird and funny writings about pets. Lady Lucinda first appeared on TV in the 1980s with "A Cabinet of Curiosities" and "Beastly Buildings" and she is the editor of this book that contains poems, stories and extracts about parrots, wallabies and woodchunk.

Lucinda Lambton has been an architectural photographer for thirty-five years and has made over fifty television programmes on architecture. She has written five books to go with her pictures, among them ‘Temples of Convenience’ (on lavatories) and ‘Beastly Buildings’ (on buildings for animals). She is married to the distinguished journalist Peregrine Worsthorne.
