MacDou-goal is the former Scottish international's story, through his playing and coaching career, and up to the present day. Ted scored goals aplenty for Bournemouth, Norwich City and Southampton - including an FA Cup record of nine for Bournemouth against Margate in 1971.
Neil Vacher is club secretary at AFC Bournemouth, a position he has held for the past eight years. It is one of many different roles he has undertaken at the club since first watching them as a young boy in the early 1960s. First and foremost a supporter, Neil has also contributed articles for the club's programme for many years. His boyhood hero was 'ace marksman' Ted MacDougall and this book is the fulfilment of a lifetime's ambition.
