Maddie on Things by Theron Humphrey
As the photographer explains it, this is 'a super serious project about dogs and physics.' Maddie is a coonhound who is currently accompanying her owner, Theron, on a year-long, cross-country trip while he works on an extensive photojournalism project. In his spare time, he takes photos of Maddie doing what she does best: standing on things.
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Theron Humphrey is a photographer who has lived and worked across the country, most recently in Idaho. In 2011, he started a kickstarter-funded project across the US, meeting and photographing someone new every day. He takes his coonhound Maddie on his travels, and also photographs her along the way.
